350.org. Link to an excellent explanation of Climate Science Basics. It’s warming. It’s us. We’re sure. It’s bad. We can fix it. 350.org was founded by Bill McKibben, a journalist who has spent his professional life covering global warming. There are also state chapters. New Mexico, where I live has an excellent chapter.

NOAA. Link to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration website. Enter “climate change” in the bar, SEARCH NOAA SITES. This brings up lots of information.

IPBES. Link The Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) is the intergovernmental body which assesses the state of biodiversity and of the ecosystem services it provides to society, in response to requests from decision makers.

Overshootday. Link Earth Overshoot Day marks the date when humanity’s demand for ecological resources and services in a given year exceeds what Earth can regenerate in that year. In 2020, it fell on August 22.
